Bryce Canyon National Park (August 17)

After Canyonlands we headed the same day for Bryce Canyon National Park. Both of us agreed that this offered some of the most spectacuar views of our whole trip. Bryce Canyon is not typical for a canyon because instead of a river, Bryce Canyon was carved out by weather like wind and rain after the land, with massive amounts of fine-grained sediment deposited over millions of years, was lifted through tectonic plate movement. After we drove near Zion and stayed at the Best Western Plus Zion West at  LaVerkin, UT so we could explore Zion early the next day. We also decided to finally eat out at a nice restaurant that evening (Stage Coach Grille) once we checked into our hotel
